Intelligent Manufacturing Park, Suzhou ETZ
Guided by government policies and operated on market principles, the industrial park has attracted 66 intelligent manufacturing projects with a total contracted investment of 7.46 billion yuan, including key enterprises such as Dianguang Explosion-proof Electric, Yongtong Cable and Dapan Special Equipment.
Undertaking industrial transfer from the Yangtze River Delta, the park introduces auto parts and other projects leveraging its geographic location and labor resource advantages. Special policies have been rolled out to boost the clustered development of intelligent manufacturing industry.
Nine single buildings, comprising six production workshops, one 9-storey comprehensive office building and two single-storey auxiliary buildings, have taken shape. Zijin New Materials and Dapan Special Equipment are carrying out workshop renovation, with some equipment already ordered.
The China Coal No.3 Construction Group’s intelligent manufacturing project and Zijin Plastics’ high-performance thin film new material project have settled in the park. Upon full operation, they are expected to generate an annual output value of 2 billion yuan.
In the future, the park plans to gather 80 to 100 industrial enterprises above designated size, building a 10-billion-yuan equipment manufacturing industrial cluster in Suzhou City.
